Letter to the editor: John Kerry's climate hypocrisy

Tribune-Review

I can’t hold back. When are the real scientists going to start speaking out and making themselves seen and heard? Now we have another genius, John Kerry, telling us we need to “cut agricultural emissions.” Next maybe he’ll suggest we get rid of our cows, like in Ireland, where the government is proposing that farmers “eliminate” over 200,000 cows as a way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to meet European Union climate change goals. This as he flies his private jet all over the world preaching about climate change. I don’t know how it can get any more hypocritical than this.

I guess Kerry would rather see people lose their livelihood and starve than park his damn jet, which puts out way more gases than any cow. That goes for all the government hypocrites who do the same thing. They are doing their best to brainwash everybody while they do as they please.

We need to hold their feet to the fire and make them tell the American people the truth for once. Mother Nature will change this world whenever and however she wants (with volcanoes, lightning strikes, etc.), and all you go-green cowboys aren’t going to change her mind.

We’re already paying a price for this insanity with our pocketbooks, and some of us with our livelihoods. We already do more for the climate than any other country, and as we suffer for it, they’re laughing all the way to the bank.
