Paving, patching planned on Route 66, I-70 in Westmoreland

PennDOT is conducting the following work on roads in Westmoreland County this week, weather permitting:

Crack sealing will take place on Route 30 in Ligonier Township and on Route 271 in Ligonier and Fairfield townships.

Pipe replacements will take place on Route 982 in Mt. Pleasant Township.

Pipe installation/drainage will take place on Herminie Road in Sewickley and Brown Avenue in Hempfield.

Bridge maintenance will take place on Yukon Road in Sewickley.

Sign placement/review will take place on various routes in various townships.

Paving/patching will take place on the following:

• Main Street (Route 66) in Hempfield

• Interstate 70 Eastbound, from North Belle Vernon to the Arnold City exit

• Route 982 in Mt. Pleasant Township

• Route 130 and Stoneylonesome Road in Cook

• Jones Mill-Stahlstown Road in Donegal Township

• Guffey Road in Sewickley
