WWE announcer “Mean” Gene Okerlund has died, according to the wrestling organization. He was 76.
Okerlund whose full name was Eugene Arthur Okerlund, was known for his ringside interviews with wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, and The Ultimate Warrior. He spent most of his career with the WWE (previously known as WWF).
