Wheeling Nailers sign former Robert Morris captain Luke Lynch

The Wheeling Nailers have signed former Robert Morris captain and forward Luke Lynch to an ECHL contract.

A native of Shaler, Lynch completed his NCAA career in 2019-20. As a senior, he appeared in 37 games and scored 17 points (five goals, 12 assists). In 155 career games with the Colonials, Lynch recorded 105 points (41 goals, 64 assists). He is one of only 12 players in program history to reach the 100-point mark.

Lynch, 24, has also previously played for the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite program as well as the Johnstown Tomahawks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
