Kiski Area grad Billy Perroz is in his first season at Saint Vincent after transferring friom IUP.

The brooms are going to need new bristles at Saint Vincent.

The Bearcats baseball team earned its fourth straight sweep of a Presidents’ Athletic Conference opponent, and ran its winning streak to 11, with wins of 9-4 and 10-8 against Franciscan.

Junior Jordan Sabol (Penn-Trafford) was the standout of the doubleheader, tallying six hits, including a Game 2 grand slam for his first college home run.

Sophomore Billy Perroz (Kiski Area) went 2 for 4 with a homer and four RBIs, and senior Justin Wright (Hempfield) also homered, in the opener.

Freshman John Evans also had two hits.

In the second game, grad student T.J. Dailey homered and drove in three, while sophomore Julian Santana and sophomore Matt Lockwich had two hits apiece for SVC (15-8, 11-2).

Perroz was named the PAC Hitter of the Week.
