Westmoreland campus clippings: Belle Vernon's Bailey Parshall off to hot start for Penn State
Penn State had its first five softball games of the season canceled because of inclement weather at the season-opening Coastal Carolina Tournament.

Parshall struck out nine and walked two in a 5-0 victory at North Florida.
She followed with an 11-strikeout, one-walk effort in a 4-0 win over Jacksonville. She gave up two hits in that victory.
