Westmoreland campus clippings: Belle Vernon's Aaron Krepps returns to Ohio Northern
Ohio Northern will have Aaron Krepps back on its football coaching staff next season.
The Division III program hired Krepps, a Belle Vernon graduate who served as an assistant there in 2015 and ‘16 before he left to coach at Bluffton, another D-III program that plays in the Heartland Conference.
After a short stint as an assistant, Krepps was the head coach at Bluffton from 2018-21, compiling a record of 13-25.
He will coach quarterbacks and serve as co-offensive coordinator at Ohio Northern, a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference.
Krepps will organize the passing game.
Krepps also had assistant coaching stops at Alderson Broaddus (2014), Eastern Michigan (2007) and Adrian (2006).
A former Belle Vernon star who was a three-time All-American wide receiver at Washington & Jefferson — he won Presidents’ Athletic Conference Player of the Year as a junior — Krepps was Belle Vernon’s head coach from 2009-13.
