Tim Benz and Mark Madden return for this week’s edition of “Unfiltered” on TribLive’s Facebook page to talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in Florida.
The Black and Gold remain unbeaten with the win over the Jags and improve to 10-0 on the season.
Maybe the 10-0 record will start to get some attention from the national media.
Benz and Madden aren’t so sure. But maybe if the Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving night that will change and more voices will join the team’s bandwagon.
“I think beating Baltimore on Thursday will be key to getting the hype train out of the station,” says Madden.
Though overall Madden doesn’t think much of the Ravens. He thinks the league has figured out Lamar Jackson and doesn’t think they’ll make the playoffs. Also he think Steelers handle them on Thursday.
Benz also thinks other things are distracting the Ravens, which showed in their loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
The guys also look ahead on the schedule and towards some playoff scenarios.
Madden says the team is 10-0 but they show vulnerability.
