Kevin Gorman is a jerk.

He gets to go to Arizona on the road trip to cover the Steelers for TribLive. They play the Cardinals there on Sunday.

Meanwhile, I’ll be pounding out “Airing of Grievances” or “Feats of Strength” at 11:30 at night in 30-degree weather back home in Pittsburgh.

Then, ol’ Gormy is turning the trip into an extended vacation. I hate that guy.

But we bury the hatchet long enough to do our weekly podcast after Mike Tomlin’s press conference in advance of that Cardinals game.

We examine the danger facing the Steelers defense as it prepares to face Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray.

Also, we delve into the success of Devlin “Duck” Hodges. Is the Cardinals defense bad enough that the Steelers can enter the game with a pass-first mentality, even though they are starting a fourth-string quarterback?

And we focus on the need for the Steelers to continue being sack-happy and turnover-saturated on defense.

Finally, we tell you how a TribLive sports department retreat may be inspired by the Hodges-James Washington duck hunting trip.
