T.J. Watt among 5 Steelers players atop Pro Bowl positional balloting
Five Pittsburgh Steelers players lead their respective positions in Pro Bowl balloting that was released Wednesday afternoon.
Outside linebacker T.J. Watt is the leading vote-getter among all Steelers players, collecting 118,517 votes. Also leading in voting on defense for the Steelers are rookie inside linebacker Devin Bush (70,171 votes), defensive tackle Cameron Heyward (90,351) and free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (110,597).
On offense, center Maurkice Pouncey, who is finishing up a two-game suspension for fighting this week, is tops with 79,342 votes.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson leads all NFL players with 361,096 votes. Rounding out the top five are Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (286,205), Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (274,456), Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (259,313) and Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (247,905).
Fan balloting will continue through Dec. 12. Rosters will be announced Dec. 17, and the game will be played Sunday, Jan. 26 in Orlando, Fla.
