Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt has a new side hustle — he’s partnering with Abercrombie & Fitch Co. for a clothing line.

The collaboration, which was announced Thursday, includes Watt’s wife, former professional soccer player Dani Watt, as well.

“Working with such a great design and marketing team at Abercrombie, and being able to do this alongside my wife has been absolutely incredible,” T.J. Watt said in the announcement. “Whether you’re an athlete or not, we wanted to create something for everyone that was versatile enough to take you from a workout to running errands, with a polished, performance-inspired look that works seamlessly on or off the field.”

Dani Watt first introduced her husband to Abercrombie’s Your Personal Best line, or YPB. He then began wearing the items during his entire training routine, Abercrombie said, and this “authentic connection” is what sparked the partnership for the new collection.

“Dani and I are proud of what we created and excited for people to experience it,” he said.

Featuring options for men and women, the clothing collection is set to roll out in three seasonal drops: this coming fall, spring and summer.

The first drop includes shorts, tees, tanks and hoodies for men, and the women’s line will also include leggings, sports bras and sweatshirts, Abercrombie said, in sizes ranging from XXS to XXL.

Prices range from $29 to $90, and the line will be available both online at www.abercrombie.com and in stores.

The two Abercrombie stores in the Pittsburgh area are at Ross Park Mall and The Mall at Robinson.

Specific products in the first drop, which is now available as of Thursday, include options like:

  • Men’s YPB neoKNIT MAX Half-Zip in Grape Leaf
  • Men’s YPB Active Cotton-Blend Muscle Tank in Light Heather Gray with the words “South Side Training Club” on the front
  • Men’s YPB motionTEK Athletic Fit Unlined Ready Short in Gray Camo
  • Women’s YPB On The Go French Terry Full-Zip in Black
  • Women’s YPB studioFLEX Cami Tank in Black
  • Women’s YPB motionTEK High Rise Lined Workout Short in Black

“T.J. and Dani always bring their personal best, on and off the field, so they are the perfect partners as we embark on this pivotal next step for our YPB activewear line,” said Carey Collins Krug, chief marketing officer at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. “They bring authenticity and athletic insight to every stage of the process, helping us create a collection that performs as well as they do, without sacrificing style.”
