Steelers fans will have two chances to attend a Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony this year.

The Hall of Fame announced Tuesday that the 20-member Centennial Class will be inducted in separate events, with the traditional ceremony in August and a Centennial Celebration in September.

Safety Troy Polamalu and coach Bill Cowher are part of the first class that will be enshrined Saturday, Aug. 8. They are part of the five modern era players, two coaches and three contributors that will be celebrated on that day.

The 10 seniors candidates, of which safety Donnie Shell is a member, will have their day on Friday, Sept. 18.

Both events will take place at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.
