Steelers receiver Diontae Johnson gets hurt on this play against the Texans in the second quarter Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020 at Heinz Field.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Pittsburgh Steelers offense will be at full strength Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. The same can’t be said for a banged-up defense.

Guard David DeCastro and wide receiver Diontae Johnson will return to the starting lineup after sitting out the Week 6 game against the Cleveland Browns with injuries. DeCastro missed because of an abdominal strain, and Johnson sat with a back injury.

With second-year inside linebacker Devin Bush sustaining a season-ending ACL tear against the Browns, Robert Spillane will make his first career start against the Titans. He will be backed up by Ulysees Gilbert III, who is active for the second time this season.

Slot cornerback Mike Hilton, ruled out Friday with a shoulder injury, likely will be replaced by Cam Sutton.

Among the players inactive against the Titans is defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs, who was scratched for the first time this season. Henry Mondeaux, promoted from the 53-man roster on Friday, will be active.

Buggs played 17 and 16 snaps, respectively, in the first two games, then had a combined 18 snaps over the next three games.

The other inactives for the Steelers are No. 3 quarterback Joshua Dobbs, fullback Derek Watt, tight end Zach Gentry, guard/tackle Derwin Gray and defensive linemen Carlos Davis and Buggs. Watt was ruled out Friday with a hamstring injury.

Two players called up from the practice squad on Saturday — running back Trey Edmunds and outside linebacker Jayrone Elliott — are active.

The game also will mark the return of punter Jordan Berry to the Steelers. He was re-signed Saturday, one day after Dustin Colquitt was released.
