Steelers activate CB Joe Haden, center Kendrick Green from reserve/covid list
Two Pittsburgh Steelers players returned from the reserve/covid list Saturday, and another was added.
Cornerback Joe Haden and center Kendrick Green were activated to the active roster, the team announced. But taking their place on the list is wide receiver James Washington, whose inclusion rules him out from playing Sunday in the season finale at Baltimore.
Green missed the previous game with a calf injury, and Haden missed a four-game stretch with a foot injury. J.C. Hassenauer could be in line to start a second consecutive game at center in place of Green.
Washington has caught 24 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns while playing in 15 games, starting two.
The Steelers also waived defensive end Isaiah Buggs, who had fallen behind Montravius Adams and Carlos Davis at nose tackle. Guard Rashaad Coward was elevated from the practice squad so he can be available to dress against the Ravens.
In a pair of practice squad transactions, the Steelers re-signed kicker Sam Sloman and released wide receiver Tyler Vaughns.
