Shady Side Academy alum Skyy Moore declaring for NFL Draft
Skyy’s the limit.
Western Michigan big-play wide receiver Skyy Moore, a sophomore with two years of eligibility left, will declare for the NFL Draft.
Moore, a Shady Side Academy graduate from New Kensington, was a catch-everything threat this season for the Broncos, pulling in 95 receptions for 1,292 yards and 10 touchdowns, often providing fans with highlight-reel grabs.
Moore had 12 catches for 206 yards and four TDs against Northern Illinois in the regular-season finale. He caught at least 11 passes in four games.
He earned All-Mid-American Conference First Team recognition.
He had 51 catches for 802 yards in his freshman season when he also was a first-team all-conference performer.
Moore had 25 catches for 388 yards during the 2020 season that was shortened by the covid pandemic and won’t count toward players’ eligibility.
The NFL Draft is set for April 28-30. According to Pro Football Focus, Moore is the No. 8-best receiver on the draft board.
