Seton Hill is parting ways with men’s basketball coach Kendrick Saunders after three seasons.

Griffins athletic director Chris Snyder confirmed the university will not retain Saunders or his assistant, Ryan Joyce.

Seton Hill finished 3-24 this season, including a 3-19 mark in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division.

The Griffins, who lost their final eight games, gave up an average of 81 points per game.

Snyder said Seton Hill is looking to “move in a different direction with the program” and the university will begin a search for a new staff.

Saunders led the Griffins to a PSAC Tournament appearance in his first season. He was an assistant at Navy for six years and also served as the director of basketball operations at Princeton for two seasons.
