Seton Hill football faces big test against IUP

About IUP: Special teams have haunted the Crimson Hawks in their past two games. A blocked punt cost them against California, and two blocked punts and an onside kick were the difference in a shocking loss to Edinboro.
The Crimson Hawks ran for a season-high 232 yards and outgained the Fighting Scots, 432-232, but fell 21-17. It was the third time the Crimson Hawks lost a home. The loss seemingly dropped IUP out of contention for the postseason.
Senior RB Justice Evans rushed for 143 yards, his ninth career 100-yard game.
In three games against Seton Hill, Evans has 35 carries for 426 yards (12.2 yards per carry) and four TDs.
Seton Hill’s rushing defense is fourth in the PSAC this season, allowing 90.7 yards per game.

About Seton Hill: The Griffins are coming off a 42-14 loss at No. 4 Cal last Saturday to fall to 4-5 overall and 2-4 in the PSAC West.
The Griffins outrushed the Vulcans by 194 yards but gave up 355 yards and five touchdowns through the air and committed 12 penalties.
Running back Logan Wiland ran for 166 yards, his sixth 100-yard game of the season. He leads the PSAC with 115.3 yards per game,
The Griffins rank 15th in the PSAC with 151 passing yards per game. IUP is 160th in Division II allowing nearly 303 passing yards a game.
IUP’s run defense is sixth in Division II allowing 76 yards per game on the ground.
