The Great One continues to live up to his moniker on the memorabilia market.

Roberto Clemente’s game-worn jersey from the 1960 World Series sold for $256,714 to highlight Lelands 2024 Winter Classic Auction, which closed on Saturday.

Clemente helped lead the Pirates to the 1960 World Series title in a seven-game thriller against the New York Yankees.

Clemente batted .314 with 94 RBIs that season. Included with the gray vest-style button-front uniform top was a full SGC authentication book. The uniform received a grade of excellence from SGC, the second-highest grade attainable.

Bidding, which began Feb. 25, started at $25,000. Forty-one bids were received.

Among other items auctioned off, a game-worn jersey by Steelers Hall of Fame wide receiver Lynn Swann had a $37,620 high bid. The jersey was matched to Nov. 27, 1978, when Swann had a season-high 134 yards and two touchdowns.

A game-worn Sidney Crosby jersey from his rookie season with the Penguins fared better. It commanded a high bid of $86,464.
