Robert Morris' Brady Ferguson named to Atlantic Hockey Hall of Honor
Former Robert Morris forward Brady Ferguson has been named to the inaugural class of the Atlantic Hockey Hall of Honor.
Ferguson, who played at Robert Morris from 2014-18, is the Colonials’ all-time leading scorer with 167 points (66 goals, 101 assists). He was nominated for the Hobey Baker Award as a senior.
He joins fellow Robert Morris forwards Zac Lynch (2012-16) and Cody Wydo (2011-15) in the inaugural class. They were announced in the fall.
In honor of its 20th season, the Atlantic Hockey Association is recognizing the top 20 players from the conference’s first 20 seasons.
Players from current and former Atlantic Hockey programs were eligible for consideration, with the 20 honorees selected based on their on-ice performance during their respective careers.
Ferguson played 152 games at Robert Morris, tied for second in program history, and helped the Colonials to a 88-51-16 record in his career. He also helped RMU win the 2015 Atlantic Hockey regular-season championship, the first in program history.
He also holds the program record for career assists (101) and is third in the Atlantic Hockey record book.
Ferguson, a two-time All-Atlantic Hockey first-team selection, set an RMU single-season record for points with 58 during his junior season in 2016-17. He finished the year with 24 goals and 34 assists.
Ferguson attended the Toronto Maple Leafs preseason training camp in 2018 and spent three years with the Toronto Marlies of the East Coast Hockey League. He is now in his third season with Rögle BK in the Swedish Hockey League.
