Rob Gronkowski teases ‘big announcement’ ahead of NFL deadline
Former New England Patriots tight end and Woodland Hills graduate Rob Gronkowski shared on Saturday night that he has a big announcement coming.
Gronkowski posted an Instagram story to his account telling fans to come back to the page on Tuesday for the news.
“What’s up Gronk Nation. I have a big announcement to make. I can’t wait to drop in on you this coming Tuesday,” he says in the video. “It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be wild. It’s going to be a good time. Come check out my Instagram page this Tuesday at 9 a.m. Let’s go!”

“Let’s go!” has become a catchphrase for quarterback Tom Brady.
Adding to speculation that he could be rejoining his former team or another NFL team, Gronkowski shared a 3-year-old video from Tom Brady titled “RECEIVERS… ASSEMBLE!!!” Sunday afternoon on Facebook. He added the caption, “Tom Brady, do you think this thing still works?!!”
Gronkowski has until Nov. 30 to declare for the rest of the NFL season, otherwise he can not play this season.
Past announcements from the All-Pro tight end included becoming a spokesperson for a CBD company and joining Fox Sports as an analyst.
On the Fox NFL pregame show, Gronkowski joked that maybe he was coming back to join the Dallas Cowboys.

Last week, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that team owner Robert Kraft wanted Gronkowski to rejoin the team ahead of the playoffs.
Gronkowski retired from the NFL in March and went on to publicly say he wasn’t having fun anymore.
