Four Pittsburgh Steelers are among the more than six dozen names that a prominent betting site have named as potential candidates for 2020 NFL defensive player of the year.

The list of more than six dozen names is headed by a Pitt alumnus.

Penn Hills High School graduate Aaron Donald was installed as the favorite at 7-to-1 in odds compiled by BetOnline.ag. Donald, a defensive lineman, won the award in 2017 and ‘18.

Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt ranked tied for third with his brother J.J. and behind the San Francisco 49ers’ Nick Bosa (9-to-1). J.J. Watt — the Houston Texans’ lineman who has won the ward three times — and T.J. each were at 11-to-1.

Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick is among a large group tied for the 14th-best odds at 33-to-1. Devin Bush (150-to-1) and Cameron Heyward (200-to-1) are among the longest shots listed by BetOnline.

Only 11 players have better odds than the 25-to-1 line for Steelers antagonist and Cleveland Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett.
