Only one of the four revealed himself: defensive back (most likely a cornerback) Nigel Maynard of Stewart Creek High School in Smyrna, Tenn. Maynard is a three-star recruit, according to Rivals.com.

Maynard (6-foot, 170 pounds) is the fourth defensive back who has pledged — via a non-binding verbal commitment — to enroll next year at Pitt. He joins defensive backs Davion Pritchard of Youngstown, Allen Bryant of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Tayshawn Banks of Cincinnati.
Maynard is the 15th member of Pitt’s class of 2024 to make his commitment public. That number likely will grow as others return home from their weekend at Pitt. Rivals ranks Pitt’s 15-man class 12th in the nation, third in the ACC (tied with Wake Forest and behind No. 8 Clemson and No. 9 Florida State).
