The Pittsburgh Pirates grounds crew gets the field ready Friday April 1, 2016 ahead of Sunday’s Opening Day at PNC Park.

The Pittsburgh Pirates will host a distribution of Thanksgiving meals on Monday to 300 local families at PNC Park.

In cooperation with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and in partnership with Giant Eagle, the Pirates will supply frozen turkeys and boxes of food to preselected families from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. through non-contact drive-thru pick up at the Mazeroski Way cul-de-sac outside the right field entrance.

Those who wish to donate to the food back can visit pittsburghfoodbank.org.
