The Pirates signed four more 2022 draft choices Tuesday, bringing the total to 14 players under contract from general manager Ben Cherington’s 21-man class. • Tredaway hit .370 this season for Oklahoma, with nine home runs, 18 doubles, three triples and 66 RBIs in 68 games.

• Cimillo, formerly of Rutgers, was a third-team All-American and second-team All-Big Ten selection after leading the conference with a .385 batting average.

• Deese, a right-hander, was awarded the “Best Fastball” distinction by Baseball America after compiling a 5-3 record and 5.19 ERA at the University of Houston.

• Birdsong, also a right-hander, struck out 55 batters in 44 1/3 innings for Pacific.
