Members of the PNC Park grounds crew scramble to cover the field during a rain delay in the second inning of the Pirates’ home opener against the Brewers on Monday, July 27, 2020, at PNC Park.

Friday night’s game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Colorado Rockies has been postponed due to inclement weather and rescheduled as a split seven-inning doubleheader Saturday at PNC Park.

The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 12:05 p.m., with the second game expected to start at 4:05 p.m. or approximately one hour following the end of the first game. Weather forecasts, however, are calling for a 50% chance of rain on Saturday afternoon.

Tickets for Friday night’s game will be valid for Saturday’s 12:05 p.m. game or any remaining home game during the 2021 season, subject to availability. For more information, visit pirates.com/raincheck.
