Pirates' Pablo Reyes suspended 80 games by MLB for using performance-enhancing drugs
BRADENTON, Fla. — Pittsburgh Pirates infielder-outfielder Pablo Reyes has been suspended 80 games without pay for using performance-enhancing drugs, Major League Baseball announced.
Reyes tested positive for the anabolic steroid Boldenone, according to MLB.com reporter Adam Berry.
MLB announced that Pirates INF/OF Pablo Reyes has received an 80-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Boldenone, a performance-enhancing substance.
Reyes is currently on the Triple-A Indianapolis roster, not in Major League Spring Training camp.

Reyes played 89 games for the Pirates the past two seasons, slashing .229/.295/.368 with five home runs and 26 RBIs. He batted .203 with two homers and 19 RBIs last season, when he played in 71 games.
Reyes is on the roster for Triple-A Indianapolis but is not in major-league camp with the Pirates at Pirate City.
