INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 15-14) was idle. RHP Rookie Davis (0-2, 7.13) is expected to start Tuesday night in Scranton.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 15-15) lost 10-5 to Bowie (Orioles). RHP James Marvel (3-3, 3.07) recorded the loss after allowing six runs on ten hits in 42/3 innings. In the eighth, the Curve scored five runs on three singles from RF Bligh Madris (.286), DH Logan Hill (.242) and 1B Jerrick Suiter (.263) after trailing Bowie, 7-0. Both Madris and Suiter knocked in two runners on their singles. The Baysox responded with three runs in the top of the ninth to put the game away.

BRADENTON (High-A, 19-11) defeated Clearwater (Phillies), 1-0, in a pitchers’ duel. Each starter struck out seven, but it was Bradenton’s RHP Cody Bolton (5-0, 0.77) who picked up the win. Bolton allowed just three hits in seven scoreless innings. CF Travis Swaggerty (.263) drove in the winning score on a sixth-inning RBI single. RHP Luis Escobar (0-0, 0.00) earned his third save this season.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 20-10) won 6-3 over West Virginia (Mariners). The Grasshoppers pitchers held the Power to just four hits with the bullpen throwing three hitless innings to close the game. RHP Nicholas Economos (4-1, 2.60) struck out nine in six innings en route to the victory. Economos also allowed all three runs on four hits, including a home run. LF Fabricio Macias (.230) went 3 for 4 with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored. 1B Michael Gretler (.300) doubled twice with two RBIs. SS Rodolfo Castro (.294) hit a solo shot for his 10th home run in 24 games this season. RHP Logan Stoelke (0-2, 5.25) recorded his fourth save this season.
