INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 30-20) shut out Charlotte (White Sox), 4-0. The Indians held the Knights to just two hits as RHP Pedro Vasquez (1-1, 7.71) threw six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts, a walk and a hit allowed in a winning effort. CF Jason Martin (.255) went 2 for 3 at the plate with a solo home run in the third and two runs scored. Both 3B Jung-Ho Kang (.333) and LF Corey Dickerson (.150) went 0 for 3 with Kang striking out twice.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 23-27) was suspended in their doubleheader with Trenton (Yankees) because rain. The Curve made it through 21/2 innings in Game 1 before it was delayed with Altoona leading 6-0. The postponement was announced two and a half hours later. A make-up date for the doubleheader has yet to be determined. RHP Austin Coley (0-0, 4.50) is the Curve’s expected starting pitcher Friday evening.

BRADENTON (High-A, 31-21) won 7-3 over Lakeland (Tigers). The Marauders scored three runs in the fourth inning and four in the seventh to build a 7-0 advantage. The Flying Tigers attempted to rally in the top of the ninth, scoring three times. RHP Cody Bolton (6-3, 1.81) struck out 10 batters in six scoreless innings to earn the win. RF Cal Mitchell (.294) and SS Robbie Glendinning (.317) hit solo homers in the third and fourth innings, respectively. DH Raul Hernandez (.234) was 2 for 4 with a two-run double. 3B Busby (.191) hit a two-run triple.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 35-17) lost 11-10 against Lakewood (Phillies). SS Connor Kaiser went 4 for 5, including two doubles, a triple and a home run, with five RBIs. DH Ji-Hwan Bae finished 3 for 4 with three runs scored. RHP Osvaldo Bido (6-3, 3.42) is expected to start for the Grasshoppers on Friday night.

WASHINGTON (Frontier League, 5-14) lost 9-5 to Evansville. LHP Nick Wegmann (1-3, 5.57) recorded the loss after allowing seven runs in 42/3 innings with three strikeouts, eight hits allowed and a walk on 93 pitches. CF Saige Jenco (.400) went 2 for 4 with a solo home run and an RBI double. 3B Wander Franco (.308) hit a third-inning two-run homer.
