INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 21-17) beat Norfolk (Orioles), 7-1. RF Jose Osuna (.314) started things off with a two-run homer in the first to give the Indians a lead they never lost. 2B Kevin Kramer (.283) doubled two runs home in the eighth as part of a three-run frame. C Kevin Stallings (.343) went 2 for 4 with two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored. RHP Rookie Davis (1-3, 5.35) earned the win after throwing seven innings with one run allowed on eight hits with four strikeouts and a walk. LHP Jake Brentz (0-1, 0.00) recorded his second save this season in a scoreless two-inning outing with just one hit let up and a strikeout.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 21-20) won 8-2 over Harrisburg (Nationals). The Curve scored eight unanswered runs after giving up two in the second. Altoona responded with a five-run third inning and a three-run eighth. Both C Arden Pabst (.192) and 2B Mitchell Tolman (.267) knocked in two runs. Pabst also tripled. Seven of the eight Curve runs were scored on singles. RHP James Marvel (4-4, 4.13) went six innings, allowing just two runs on five hits with three strikeouts and a walk to get the victory. Marvel also doubled and scored a run.

BRADENTON (High-A, 23-18) won 6-4 over Palm Beach (Cardinals). The Marauders scored three runs in the first and sixth innings. RF Cal Mitchell (.287) went 3 for 5 from the plate with a double and two RBIs. CF Travis Swaggerty (.265) was 2 for 3 with a triple and two runs scored. SS Robbie Glendinning (.356) also drove in two runs. LHP Domingo Robles (4-5, 2.57) picked up the win in a seven-inning outing with two runs allowed on six hits with four strikeouts. RHP Nick Mears (3-1, 2.55) recorded his first save this season.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 26-14) defeated Lakewood (Phillies), 4-0. The Grasshoppers got the win despite being outhit 6-4 and committing more errors (3-1). CF Lolo Sanchez (.317) hit a two-run homer in the sixth to give Greensboro a 3-0 advantage. 2B Raul Siri (.241) doubled in a run the following inning to cap the Grasshopper scoring. RHP Brad Case (6-1, 1.63) threw seven scoreless frames with eight strikeouts and six hits en route to the victory.

WASHINGTON (Frontier League, 2-7) lost 3-2 to Lake Erie. 1B J.J. Fernandez (.265) broke the 0-0 tie with a two-run homer in the sixth to put the Wild Things ahead. LHP Nick Wegmann (0-2, 5.78) gave up all three runs in sixth on a double, single and sacrifice fly to get the loss. Wegmann finished with three strikeouts, three walks and five hits in five innings.
