INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 13-12) lost 9-7 to Columbus (Indians). RHP Rookie Davis (0-2, 7.13) got the loss after allowing eight runs on 12 hits in five innings. Davis also gave up two home runs and had three strikeouts. The Indians hit three home runs in a game with six total homers. CF Jason Martin (.200) hit a two-run blast in the fifth for his first four-bagger this season. LF Jake Elmore (.400) and RF Patrick Kivlehan (.216) each hit solo shots.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 12-13) lost 3-1 to Erie (Tigers). RF Bralin Jackson (.238) hit a double for the Curve’s lone extra-base hit. RHP James Marvel (3-2, 1.98) went 6²/₃ innings in the loss with six strikeouts, a walk and three runs on nine hits.

BRADENTON (High-A, 17-9) lost 1-0 to Jupiter (Marlins). The Marauders were held to two hits and struck out 18 times. Six Bradenton players struck out at least twice, and three were retired three times. CF Travis Swaggerty (.271) went 1 for 4 with two strikeouts and a double for the Marauders’ only extra-base hit. LHP Domingo Robles (2-4, 2.68) recorded the loss without allowing an earned run, lasting seven innings with four strikeouts, five hits and a walk. The unearned Jupiter run came in after LF Chris Sharpe committed an error by misplaying a fly ball to left field with a runner on.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 16-9) won 8-3 over Rome (Braves). CF Fabricio Macias (.181) went 4 for 4 with a two-run homer and three RBIs. 2B Rodolfo Castro (.258) and CF Lolo Sanchez (.330) each hit a home run. RHP Nicholas Economos (3-1, 2.08) earned the win after allowing just one run in five innings with seven strikeouts, three hits and a walk.
