INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 51-49) won 7-6 over Syracuse (Mets). The Indians led 3-0 before the Mets scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Indianapolis followed with three unanswered scores to end the game, including two in the ninth. SS Erik Gonzalez (.235) batted in the tying and go-ahead runs on a ground-rule double in the top of the ninth. 2B Cole Tucker (.276) was 2 for 4 from the plate with a seventh-inning solo home run, two RBIs and two runs scored. CF Jason Martin (.261) hit a second-inning, two-run homer to put the Indians ahead 2-0. 1B Will Craig (.250) went 2 for 4 with a double and a run. RHP Yefry Ramirez (2-4, 4.60 with Indianapolis) got the win after allowing a run in 21/3 innings of relief with three strikeouts, two walks and two hits surrendered. RHP Eduardo Vera (5-8, 6.71) gave up five runs in 52/3 innings with two strikeouts, three walks and six hits allowed in a no-decision. RHP Geoff Hartlieb (2-0, 2.59) recorded his second save this season with the Indians.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 52-45) lost 4-3 to Erie (Tigers) in 10 innings, the first game of a doubleheader. RHP Matt Eckelman (1-4, 3.05 with Altoona) was dealt the loss despite pitching the last three innings without giving up an earned run. The go-ahead run was scored on a fielding error. Eckelman finished with three strikeouts and one hit allowed. C Jason Delay (.256) was 3 for 4 with two RBIs and a run scored. 2B Mitchell Tolman (.259) went 2 for 4 with an RBI. RHP Cody Bolton (0-1, 5.79 with Altoona) gave up three runs on five hits, struck out three and walked one in three innings, failing to record a decision.

BRADENTON (High-A, 54-46) split a doubleheader with Clearwater (Phillies), dropping Game 1, 2-1, but winning the second game, 4-1. The Marauders were held to three hits in Game 1. 1B Mason Martin (.244 with Bradenton) hit a fourth-inning solo home run to tie the score 1-1. CF Travis Swaggerty (.251) was 2 for 3 along with a stolen base, his 17th this season. LHP Ike Schlabach (2-1, 2.97) gave up two runs in four innings with three strikeouts, a walk and five hits allowed in a losing performance. In Game 2, Martin went 2 for 4 with a double, a solo home run and two RBIs along with a run scored. SS Oneil Cruz (.297 with Bradenton) hit a fifth-inning solo homer. RHP Conner Loeprich (1-0, 1.50) earned the win after giving up just a run in six innings with six strikeouts, a walks and eight hits allowed. LHP Joe Jacques (2-1, 2.42 with Bradenton) recorded his first save this season.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 60-39) was postponed because of inclement weather. The game is to be made up Thursday. RHP Osvaldo Bido (11-5, 3.58) is expected to start for the Grasshoppers on Wednesday.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 19-17) lost 8-3 to Batavia (Marlins). RHP Braxton Ashcraft (0-6, 6.48) picked up the defeat after giving up five runs, including two home runs, in 42/3 innings with six strikeouts, three walks and five hits allowed. SS Ethan Paul (.211) and 3B Jared Triolo (.220) each went 2 for 4. Paul hit a double and scored a run, and Triolo batted in a score.

WASHINGTON (Frontier League, 25-36) was defeated 3-2 by River City. LHP Nick Wegmann (3-5, 3.57) recorded the loss after giving up three runs on eight hits with four strikeouts and two walks in six innings. 1B Alex Murphy (.286) and C Cody Erickson (.311) each hit a solo home run.
