INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 39-34): Defeated Pawtucket (Red Sox), 4-3. 2B Nick Franklin (.191) hit a two-run single in the top of the seventh to put the Indians ahead 3-2. After Pawtucket tied it in the bottom of the eighth, C Christian Kelley (.207) singled in the winning run in the top of the ninth. SS Cole Tucker (.303) hit his sixth home run. Despite blowing the save opportunity, RHP Luis Escobar (2-1, 3.30) picked up the win.

Next: Monday vs. Louisville (Reds)

ALTOONA (Double-A, 37-34): Defeated Hartford (Rockies), 6-1. The Curve had 15 hits, led by CF Jared Oliva (.227), SS Robbie Glendinning (.318) and 1B Jerrick Suiter (.251) with three each. Oliva hit his 11th homer and drove in two runs. LHP Sean Brady (3-7, 5.09 ERA) earned the victory, pitching seven innings and giving up one earned run on four hits.

Next: Monday at Richmond (Giants)

BRADENTON (Single-A Advanced, 39-34): Lost to Tampa (Yankees), 2-0. CF Travis Swaggerty (.218), LF Lolo Sanchez (.250) and C Deon Stafford (.236) had two hits each for Bradenton. RHP Brad Case (1-1, 3.00) took the loss despite allowing one earned run on four hits in seven innings. He struck out five and walked none.

Next: Tuesday at Jupiter (Marlins)

GREENSBORO (Single-A, 45-28): Lost to Delmarva (Orioles), 5-0. 3B Patrick Dorrian (.261) had the only multi-hit game for the Grasshoppers with two. Greensboro was held ot five hits. RHP Colin Selby (3-2, 3.70) took the loss after allowing four earned runs on four hits in six innings. He struck out six and walked one.

Next: Monday vs. West Virginia (Mariners)

WEST VIRGINIA (Short-season A, 6-4): Defeated State College (Cardinals), 8-5. 1B Nick Patten (.243) hit his second homer, drove in three runs and scored twice. SS Jared Triolo (.250) also homered, his first, scored twice and drove in a pair. RHP Grant Ford (1-0, 16.20) earned the win despite giving up three earned runs in 1 2/3 innings. He walked five and struck out none. Starting RHP JT Brubaker (0-0, 1.35) gave up no earned runs in four innings.
