ALTOONA (Double-A, 63-64) lost 5-4 to Hartford (Rockies). RHP Blake Cederlind (5-1, 1.77 ERA) was tabbed with the defeat and blew a save opportunity after walking three batters and giving up two runs in an inning. LF Logan Hill (.259) hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning to give the Curve a 4-3 advantage. RHP Beau Sulser (8-1, 2.48) gave up two runs — one earned — in six innings with three strikeouts and seven hits allowed in a no-decision.

BRADENTON (High-A, 68-58) defeated Palm Beach (Cardinals), 5-1. RHP Aaron Shortridge (9-4, 3.10) earned the victory after allowing one run on six hits with six strikeouts in six innings. DH Daniel Amaral (.283) went 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI. 1B Mason Martin (.221) hit an RBI double. LF Lucas Tancas (.277) was 2 for 2 with two RBIs, a triple and a run. LHP Ike Schlabach (4-1, 2.42) threw two scoreless innings of relief with three strikeouts.
