INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 59-60) defeated Rochester (Twins), 6-3. C Francisco Cervelli (.750) was 3 for 4 with a double and a run in the second game of his rehab assignment. Cervelli has been on the injured list since May 26 because of a concussion. CF Jason Martin (.270) hit a sixth-inning, three-run triple to give the Indians a 4-1 advantage. RHP James Marvel (4-0, 1.82 ERA) earned the victory after allowing a run on four hits in six innings with three strikeouts and three walks. DH Eric Wood (.232) was 2 for 2 with a second-inning solo home run, two runs scored and two walks. SS Cole Tucker (.260) went 0 for 5. RHP Dovydas Neverauskas (3-2, 3.92 with Indianapolis) recorded his ninth save with the Indians this season.

Next: Wednesday vs. Rochester, 1:35 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 59-61) was defeated 13-10 by Harrisburg (Nationals). Curve batters hit five home runs, including two from LF Chris Sharpe (.224). Sharpe was 3 for 5 from the plate with two home runs, a double and three RBIs along with three runs scored. 1B Logan Hill (.252) also went 3 for 5 with three RBIs, finishing with a double, a two-run homer and two runs. 3B Brett Pope (.255) was 2 for 4 with a fifth-inning solo home run. SS Oneil Cruz (.294) went 4 for 5 with an RBI and two runs scored. LHP Sean Brady (3-12, 4.79) gave up six earned runs, eight total, on 12 hits in 4 1/3 innings with a strikeout and a walk in a losing effort.

Next: Wednesday at Harrisburg, 6:30 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 63-56) lost both games of a doubleheader against Florida (Braves), dropping the first contest, 6-0, and the last game, 2-1, in eight innings. RHP Gavin Wallace (4-7, 3.86) was tabbed with the defeat in Game 1 after pitching a six-inning complete game with five earned runs allowed on nine hits and six strikeouts. LF Daniel Amaral (.291) and CF Travis Swaggerty (.256) went 2 for 4 with Amaral hitting his 12th double this season. LHP Joe Jacques (3-3, 2.73) was responsible for the Game 2 loss after giving up the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, including a walk-off RBI single. Jacques finished with two runs allowed on three hits, a strikeout and a walk in two innings of relief. Swaggerty hit an eighth-inning RBI single. RHP Samuel Reyes (1-4, 3.10) did not record a decision despite throwing five scoreless innings with five strikeouts, a walk and four hits allowed.

Next: Wednesday doubleheader at Florida, game one at 4 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 71-48) won 2-0 over Kannapolis (White Sox). RHP Alex Manasa (9-3, 3.42) threw six shutout innings with eight strikeouts and three hits allowed en route to victory. Both Grasshoppers runs were scored in the first inning on a RBI single from 1B Lucas Mangieri (.250) followed by 2B Ji-Hwan Bae (.311) stealing home. RHP Yerry De Los Santos (3-1, 1.47) earned his 11th save this season after pitching two scoreless innings with two strikeouts and a hit allowed.

Next: Wednesday at Kannapolis, 7 p.m.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 31-25) beat Auburn (Nationals), 7-2 in a rain-shortened eight-inning game. SS Ethan Paul (.213) was 4 for 4 with three doubles, a RBI and two runs scored. DH Brendt Citta (.299) was 3 for 4 with a double, a RBI and a score. 2B Victor Ngoepe (.259) hit a RBI double. RHP Jesus Valles (3-1, 3.33) got the win after allowing just one run in five innings with a strikeout, a walk and six hits surrendered.
