Pirates minor league report: Curve no-hit by SeaWolves' Mize

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 12-10) won 5-3 over Columbus (Indians). 2B Kevin Kramer (.222) led Indianapolis offensively, going 2 for 4 at-bat with a solo home run and two runs scored. 3B Ke’Bryan Hayes (.267) chipped in with a double. RHP Dario Agrazal (1-0, 2.70) picked up the win after throwing 6 2/3 innings. Agrazal finished with six strikeouts, a walk and two runs allowed on five hits.

Next: Tuesday vs. Columbus, 11:05 a.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 11-12) was held hitless in a 1-0 loss to Erie (Tigers). The SeaWolves’ RHP Casey Mize (1-0, 0.00) threw a no-hitter with seven strikeouts. A seventh-inning walk kept Mize from a perfect game. LHP Cam Vieaux (0-2, 2.20) was the tough-luck loser for the Curve, allowing just a run on six hits with a strikeout and two walks.

Next: Tuesday vs. Erie, 6 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 16-8) was idle. The expected starting pitchers are yet to be determined.

Next: Tuesday at Jupiter (Marlins), 6:30 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 14-9) was idle. RHP Brad Case (2-1, 1.59) is the probable starting pitcher for the Grasshoppers.

Next: Tuesday vs. Rome (Braves), 7 p.m.
