INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 60-62) lost 8-4 in eight innings to Lehigh Valley (Phillies) in Game 1 of a doubleheader. The second game ran late. The Indians led 4-2 after one inning before giving up two runs in the third inning and four in the eighth. 1B Will Craig (.253) hit a two-run double in the first inning. LF Trayvon Robinson (.313) doubled a run home in the same inning. RHP Dovydas Neverauskas (3-3, 4.36 with Indianapolis) recorded the defeat after giving up four runs on five hits with three strikeouts and two walks in two innings of relief. RHP Dario Agrazal (4-4, 4.78 with Indianapolis) gave up four runs in five innings with seven strikeouts, a walk and seven hits allowed in a no-decision.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 60-63) fell 6-2 to Bowie (Orioles). LHP Domingo Robles (2-6, 4.83 with Altoona) allowed four runs on 11 hits in six innings with four strikeouts and a walk in a losing performance. SS Oneil Cruz (.283 with Altoona) hit a fourth-inning RBI double for the Curve’s only RBI and extra-base hit of the game.

BRADENTON (High-A, 66-57) lost 4-2 to Lakeland (Tigers). RHP Conner Loeprich (1-1, 4.50 with Bradenton) was dealt the defeat after giving up four runs in six innings with three strikeouts and nine hits allowed. LF Lolo Sanchez (.181 with Bradenton) went 2 for 4 with a triple and a run scored. RF Cal Mitchell (.249) and CF Travis Swaggerty (.264) each batted in a run. RHP John O’Reilly (1-0, 0.63 with Bradenton) threw two scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts and two hits allowed.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 72-50) won 4-3 over Augusta (Giants). SS Connor Kaiser (.202) hit a walk-off fielder’s choice, scoring PR Ji-Hwan Bae (.304) in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. Kaiser finished with a double and two RBIs. RF Jack Herman (.257) hit an RBI double in the first inning. RHP Yerry De Los Santos (3-1, 1.47) picked up the victory after throwing a scoreless inning of relief with a strikeout, two walks and no hits allowed. RHP Steven Jennings (5-11, 5.01) failed to record a decision despite throwing five innings without giving up an earned run. Jennings gave up three unearned runs on two hits with five strikeouts and two walks.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 33-26) defeated Batavia (Marlins), 9-3. The Black Bears outhit the Muckdogs, 15-6. LF Fernando Villegas (.318) went 2 for 3 with two doubles, five RBIs and a run scored along with two walks. C Kyle Wilkie (.223) was 4 for 5 with an RBI and two runs. RHP Austin Roberts (0-1, 3.75) gave up one run in five innings with seven strikeouts and two hits allowed in a winning effort. RHP Bear Bellomy (0-1, 2.95) earned his second save this season after pitching four innings of relief with two runs allowed on four hits, two strikeouts and two walks.

WASHINGTON (Frontier League, 33-51) lost 5-3 to Windy City. CF J.R. Davis (.257) hit a two-run triple in a three-run fourth inning. LF Blake Adams (.261) went 3 for 5 with two doubles and a run. LHP Josh Lapiana (0-3, 5.43) gave up four runs in five innings with a walk and six hits allowed to record the loss.
