INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 60-62) lost 7-3 to Rochester (Twins). The Indains fell behind 7-0 after four innings. RHP Alex McRae (7-7, 5.15) took the los after giving up six earned runs on 10 hits with three strikeouts and a walk in four innings. SS Cole Tucker (.267) went 2 for 4 with a RBI and a score. 2B Jake Elmore (.350) doubled twice and scored a run. C Francisco Cervelli (.375) went 0 for 4 in his third rehab assignment game. Next: Friday doubleheader vs. Lehigh Valley (Phillies), Game One at 6:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 60-62) fell 12-1 to Harrisburg (Nationals). The Curve trailed 11-0 after three innings with the Senators scoring six runs in the second inning and five in the third. RHP Cody Bolton (2-3, 5.85) was responsible for the loss after allowing five runs on five hits in one inning to start the game, failing to record an out in the second. 3B Brett Pope (.252) and CF Chris Sharpe (.219) each hit a double. SS Oneil Cruz (.276) drove in the lone Curve score. Next: Friday vs. Bowie (Orioles), 7 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 66-56) won 14-4 over Florida (Braves). The Marauders led 8-2 after three innings with a seven-run third inning. 1B Mason Martin (.236 with Bradenton) collected two hits, including a three-run homer in the seventh along with five RBIs and two runs scored. Six Bradenton batters doubled, including 2B Rodolfo Castro (.225 with Bradenton) who finished 3 for 5 with two RBIs and two runs. DH Lucas Tancas (.275) went 3 for 6 with a RBI double and two runs. RHP Brad Case (4-4, 4.35) got the win in a six-inning outing with four runs allowed on four hits, five strikeouts and three walks. Next: Friday at Lakeland (Tigers), 6:30 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 71-50) lost 5-1 to Augusta (Giants). RHP Noe Toribio (2-1, 3.18 with Greensboro) took the loss, giving up three runs in 3 2/3 innings with five strikeouts, four walks and four hits allowed. LF Jack Herman (.256) doubled for the Grasshoppers’ only extra-base hit. Next: Friday vs. Augusta, 7 p.m.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 31-26) won 10-5 over Batavia (Marlins). Three Black Bear batters collected three hits, including CF Brett Kinneman (.176) who went 3 for 5 with a double, two RBIs and three runs. DH Will Matthiessen (.220) was 3 for 5 with a triple, a RBI and two runs scored. C Elys Escobar (.250) was also 3 for 5 with a double, two RBIs and a run. RHP Francis Del Orbe (3-1, 4.08) picked up the victory after throwing 2 2/3 scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts, a walk and a hit allowed. RHP Michael Burrows (2-2, 4.21) gave up three runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings with three strikeouts and two walk in a no-decision. Next: Friday at Batavia, 7:05 p.m.

Independent

WASHINGTON (Frontier League, 33-50) fell 4-1 to Joliet. LHP John Havird (5-7, 3.52) recorded the loss despite lasting seven innings with four runs allowed on nine hits, five strikeouts and two walks. The Wild Things were held to two hits. C Cody Erickson (.275) drove in the lone Washington run. Next: Friday vs. Windy City, 7:05 p.m.
