INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 10-9) lost to Gwinnett (Braves), 6-2. 2B Nick Franklin (.500) went 2 for 2 with a sixth-inning solo home run. LF Patrick Kivlehan (.222) and SS Jake Elmore (.403) each hit a double. RHP Eduadro Vera (0-2, 4.05) allowed three runs on two third-inning homers, lasting four innings with three strikeouts and two walks in the loss.

Next: Friday at Charlotte (White Sox), 7:04 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 9-10) was idle. RHP James Marvel (2-1, 1.99) is expected to start on the mound tomorrow night for the Curve.

Next: Friday vs. Richmond (Giants), 6 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 13-8) lost 3-2 to Daytona (Reds). The Marauders’ two runs came on a fourth-inning two-run blast from 3B Dylan Busby (.241). RF Cal Mitchell (.269) and 2B Jesse Medrano (.271) each hit a double. LHP Domingo Robles (2-3, 3.30) recorded the loss, allowing three runs on four hits in seven innings with five strikeouts and three walks.

Next: Friday at Daytona, 7:05 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 12-8) defeated Hagerstown (Nationals), 6-3. A first-inning two-run homer from 1B Mason Martin (.247) gave the Grasshoppers an early advantage. After a run scored by 3B Patrick Dorrian (.250) on a bases-loaded walk in the third, Greensboro led by three. Dorrian also chipped in later in the fifth with an RBI double. RHP Nicholas Economos (2-1, 2.16) picked up the win in a five-inning start with four strikeouts, four walks and three runs on four hits.

Next: Friday at Hagerstown, 6:05 p.m.
