INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 10-8) lost 7-6 to Gwinnett (Braves) after falling one run short of a five-run comeback as the Curve trailed 7-2 after seven innings. RF/LF Patrick Kivlehan (.220) started the rally in the eighth inning with a three-run homer. Kivlehan finished 2 for 4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. C Steven Baron (.087) hit a solo shot in the seventh. RHP J.T. Brubaker (2-1, 2.57 ERA) allowed three runs on four hits, including two home runs, for the loss. Brubaker finished with five strikeouts and a walk in five innings.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 9-10) won 10-5 over Harrisburg (Nationals) to avoid the sweep. Seven Altoona batters recorded at least two hits. RF Bligh Madris (.307) went 3 for 6 with two doubles and three RBIs. 1B Jerrick Suiter (.293) went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. RHP Beau Sulser (3-0, 0.00) threw two scoreless innings with four strikeouts and a hit to earn the win.

Next: Friday vs. Richmond (Giants), 6 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 13-7) beat Fort Myers (Twins), 3-1. 3B Dylan Busby (.240) finished 2 for 3 at the plate with a two-run homer in the second to give the Marauders an early 2-0 advantage. RHP Cody Bolton (3-0, 0.82) picked up the win after not giving up an earned run in six innings pitched with six strikeouts, four hits and a walk.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 11-8) defeated Lexington (Royals), 5-2. The Grasshoppers scored two runs in the first and three in the fifth for a 5-0 lead. 1B Mason Martin (.246) hit a first-inning two-run blast, and a two-run double from LF Lolo Sanchez (.328) was followed by a fielder’s choice in the second. RHP Brad Case (2-1, 1.59) pitched six scoreless innings with three strikeouts and a hit en route to the win.
