INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 6-3) won 9-6 against Charlotte (White Sox). First baseman Will Craig went 2 for 4 with a homer, and RHP Brandon Maurer improved to 2-0 by allowing one hit in 2/3 of an inning of work.

Next: Sunday vs. Charlotte (White Sox), 1:35 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 6-4) lost 7-0 at home against Akron (Indians) in Game 1 of a doubleheader. First baseman Jerrick Suiter (.367) went 2 for 3, and CF Bralin Jackson (.188) went 1 for 3 with a double. RHP Scooter Hightower (0-1, 3.48 ERA) went 41/3 innings allowing two runs on three hits while striking out two and walking two. Altoona lost 10-7 to Akron in Game 2. 3B Hunter Owen (.333) went 3 for 3 with three-run homer, a walk and two runs scored. RHP Pedro Vasquez (1-0, 2.45) earned the no-decision after going five innings allowing two runs on five hits while striking out two and walking one.

Next: Sunday vs. Akron (Indians), 2 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 7-3) won 4-1 at home against Dunedin (Blue Jays). Designated hitter Daniel Amaral (.421) went 2 for 2 with a triple, walk and run scored. 3B Dylan Busby (.273) went 2 for 3 with a run scored. RHP Cody Bolton (2-0, 1.64 ERA) went six innings allowing one run on three hits, striking out eight and walking three.

Next: Sunday at Dunedin (Blue Jays), 1 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 5-5) won 5-0 at Charleston (Yankees). Center fielder Lolo Sanchez (.345) went 3 for 4 with two RBIs. RHP Brad Case (1-0, 0.77 ERA) went six innings allowing no runs on four hits, striking out seven and walking none.
