INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 4-3) won their fourth straight game, 7-3 over Charlotte (White Sox). 3B Ke’Bryan Hayes (.267) went 3 for 5 with two doubles, a solo home run and three RBIs. LF Trayvon Robinson (.429) went 4 for 4 at the plate and stole a base. CF Bryan Reynolds (.393) and C Christian Kelley (.500) each added home runs for the Indians. RHP Mitch Keller (0-0, 5.19) did not record a decision for the second time this season after failing to pitch five innings. Keller gave up three runs on eight hits with three strikeouts and a walk in four innings. RHP Clay Holmes (1-0, 7.20) recorded the victory after he pitched three innings without allowing a run.

Next: Friday vs. Charlotte, 7:15 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 6-2) won 3-2 in 12 innings over Akron (Indians). RF Bligh Madris (.314) lined a single to right field, knocking in LF/CF Bralin Jackson (.172) for the win. 3B Hunter Owen (.259) hit a run-scoring single in the sixth inning to give the Curve a 1-0 advantage. LHP Cam Vieaux (0-0, 0.00) was pulled from the game in the top half of the sixth, leading to a no-decision despite throwing six scoreless innings with four strikeouts and just one hit allowed. RHP Tate Scioneaux (1-0, 9.00) picked up the win after pitching a scoreless 10th inning.

Next: Friday vs. Akron, 6:00 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 6-2) won 4-3 over Charlotte (Rays). With the score tied 2-2 in the seventh inning, 1B Lucas Tancas (.296) hit a two-run double, for the go-ahead runs. LF Daniel Amaral (.308) also hit a double, going 2 for 3 at the plate. 3B Dylan Busby (.063) and CF Travis Swaggerty (.304) each knocked in a run. RHP Hunter Stratton (2-0, 1.59) picked up his second win in as many appearances. He allowed a run on hits with two strikeouts in two innings. RHP Luis Escobar (0-0, 0.00) earned his first save this season with two strikeouts and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

Next: Friday at Dunedin (Blue Jays), 6:30 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 4-4) defeated Charleston (Yankees), 4-0. Both teams were each held to five hits. RHP Osvaldo Bido (2-0, 0.00) has not allowed a run in his two first starts, throwing six scoreless innings Thursday. He let up just three hits with five strikeouts and a walk for the win. 1B Mason Martin (.222) drove in two runs on a fifth-inning double, giving the Grasshoppers a 2-0 lead, which was not relinquished. RHP Samuel Reyes (1-0, 0.00) recorded a scoreless three-inning save with five strikeouts and two hits for his first of the season.
