INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 67-64) won 9-6 over Toledo (Tigers). RF Matt Gorski (.262) was 3 for 5 with a solo home run, his 21st, and a pair of singles. 2B Nick Yorke (.332) was 3 for 6 with three doubles and scored two runs. DH Joshua Palacios (.248) was 4 for 5 with four doubles and scored four runs. RHP Bubba Chandler (3-0, 1.93) started and went five innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on three hits, walked five and struck out eight for the win. RHP Isaac Matson (3.13) and LHP Josh Walker (3.23) each pitched a scoreless inning while LHP Brady Feigl (4.10) surrendered two runs on two hits, walked one and struck out two in an inning. RHP Connor Sadzeck (3.72) struck out one, walked one and gave up a hit in the ninth for his seventh save. LF Jack Suwinski (.221) was 2 for 5 with two singles and a pair of strikeouts. 1B Billy Cook (.276) went 1 for 6 with an RBI single and SS Liover Peguero (.256) was 0 for 4 with three strikeouts.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 55-73) lost 6-5 as Hartford (Rockies) walked it off in the ninth. RHP Jack Carey (5-3, 3.91) gave up the winning single after walking two batters and getting two outs in the ninth. LHP Dominic Perachi (6.50) started and went four innings, allowing five runs on eight hits, including two homers, didn’t walk a batter and struck out four. RHPs Grant Ford (3.86) and Eddy Yean (3.52) each tossed two scoreless innings in relief. 1B Nick Cimillo (.208) was 3 for 3 with two doubles and a single. RF Jase Bowen (.232) went 1 for 3 with a single and two RBIs. LF Sammy Siani (.256) was 1 for 3 with a pair of strikeouts. 2B Termarr Johnson (0.77) was 0 for 5 with a strikeout and CF Matt Frazier (.227) was 1 for 5 with a single and three strikeouts.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 71-55) edged out Bowling Green (Rays) 2-1. RHP Carlson Reed (0.87) tossed a strong 6⅓ innings, allowing one hit on a solo home run and struck out five. RHP Carlos Jimenez (2-0, 0.00) threw 1⅔ scoreless innings, walked one, allowed no hits and struck out one to get the win. RHP Valentin Linarez (3.20) fanned the three batters he faced in the ninth for his second save of the year. C Omar Alfonzo (.250) hit his second solo home run in as many games, his fourth of the season, and finished 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. DH Shawn Ross (.196) crushed a solo home run in the eighth inning, his 23rd of the season. RF Lonnie White Jr. (.162) was 1 for 4 with a single, a lineout, a strikeout and a pop out and CF Mitch Jebb (.252) was 0 for 3.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 53-75) outslugged Daytona (Reds) 8-6. RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.222) and DH Jhonny Severino (.240) each went 2 for 4 with a two-run home run and a solo shot. For Valdez, it was his 20th and 21st home runs of the year and Severino hit his fourth and fifth since coming up from the Florida Complex League. CF Will Taylor (.200) was 1 for 5 with an RBI single and LF Andrew Patrick (.200) scored on a balk in the second inning. LHP Connor Wietgrefe (0.90) started and allowed two unearned runs on one hit in two innings, walked one and struck out four. RHP Luigi Hernandez (7.11) allowed two earned runs, on one hit, walked three and fanned one in an inning of relief. RHP Hung-Leng Chang (5-7, 4.64) picked up the win after tossing two innings in which he gave up two unearned runs on one hit, walked three and struck out two. RHP Peyton Stumbo (4.92) struck out seven and yielded two hits in four innings to earn the save, his fifth.
