ALTOONA (Double-A, 55-72) was held to four hits in a 5-0 loss to Hartford (Rockies). CF Sammy Siani (.255) was 2 for 3 with a single and a double. C Carter Bins (.193) also went 2 for 3 with a pair of singles. RHP Emmanuel Chapman (2-2, 3.63) surrendered four runs on six hits, including a three-run home run, walked one and struck out four in 3⅔ innings for the loss. RHP Brad Case (3.06) pitched 2⅓ scoreless innings. RHP J.C.Flowers (3.92) gave up a run on two hits, walked two and struck out one in two innings of relief. 2B Termarr Johnson (0.95) went 0 for 4 with three groundouts and a lineout. SS Tsung-Che Cheng (.211) was 0 for 3 with a pair of strikeouts.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 70-55) dropped a 5-4 decision against Bowling Green (Rays). C Omar Alfonzo (.232) was 2 for 3 with a single, a walk and his third home run of the season in the fourth inning. RHP J.P. Massey (5.35) started and went 4⅓ innings, allowing three runs on six hits with no walks and five strikeouts. RHP Alessandro Ercolani (6-2, 3.29) gave up two runs on three hits, walked one and struck out two in 2⅔ innings and took the loss. RHP Mike Walsh (1.54) tossed 1⅓ scoreless and RHP Ryan Harbin (5.65) struck out one and yielded a hit in two-thirds of an inning. CF Mitch Jebb (.254) scored SS Kalae Harrison with a sac fly in the third inning. 1B Josiah Sightler (.193) smacked a two-run single in the sixth.
