INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 69-78) lost to Rochester (Nationals), 7-4, in 11 innings. SS Vinny Capra (.285) tied the game in the bottom of the ninth on a Little League home run. He grounded into a force out, but a throwing error allowed him to reach second and then take third, and another throwing error gave him the chance to score and tie the game at 4. Rochester scored three times in the top of the 11th to earn the win. RF Canaan Smith-Njigba (.280) was 1 for 2 with three walks and an RBI double. He has 74 RBIs this season. 1B Aaron Shackelford (.225) was 2 for 3 with an RBI, his 52nd of the season. RHP Roansy Contreras (4.96) started and allowed three runs on three hits with two walks and four strikeouts in four innings. RHP John O’Reilly (3-8, 5.74) took the loss after allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits with four strikeouts in three innings of relief.
