Pirates farm report for Sept. 15, 2024: Endy Rodriguez's 2 hits help Curve cap season with victory
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 73-68) fell to Rochester (Nationals), 6-3. CF Jack Suwinski (.234) doubled, walked and had two RBIs. 1B Jake Lamb (.266) went 2 for 4 with a double and RBI. 2B Ji Hwan Bae (.341) had the only other hit for the Indians. RF Nick Yorke (.333), Malcom Nunez (.254), C Dylan Shockley (.220) and SS Liover Peguero (.255) each went 0 for 4. RHP Mike Burrows (3.86) started and allowed one run on three hits with a walk and four strikeouts. RHP Aaron Shortridge (2-4, 5.40) took the loss after giving up three runs (one earned) on two hits with a walk and two strikeouts in three innings of relief.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 62-76) capped off the season by defeating Richmond (Giants), 5-1. CF Jase Bowen (.241) and C Eli Wilson (.164) hit back-to-back home runs in the fifth inning to spark the win. Wilson also had an RBI double. DH Endy Rodriguez (.208) was 2 for 3 with a walk while rehabbing with the Curve. He was 5 for 24 in six games. 3B Kervin Pichardo (.252) knocked in a run on fielder’s choice. 1B Nick Cimillo (.224) tripled in a run. RHP Jaycob Deese (4.82) started and allowed one run on three hits with a walk in three innings. LHP Blake Townsend (1-0, 2.00) picked up the win after tossing two scoreless innings of relief and allowing one hit with three strikeouts.
