Pirates farm report for Sept. 13, 2024: Termarr Johnson reaches bases 5 times for Altoona

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 73-66) defeated Rochester (Nationals), 6-3. SS Nick Yorke (.340) went 2 for 4 with two walks and an RBI. RF Jack Suwinski (.232) also had two hits and drove in a run. 1B Malcom Nuñez (.258), LF Joshua Palacios (.270) and 3B Andrés Alvarez (.269) each drove in a run. RHP Jake Woodford (3.93) tossed four scoreless innings, tallying three strikeouts. RHP Domingo German (7-4, 5.07) earned the win in relief, throwing three scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk with two strikeouts.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 61-75) crushed Richmond (Giants), 10-3. 2B Termarr Johnson (.229) went 3 for 3 with a double, two runs scored, two RBIs and two walks. SS Kervin Pichardo (.254) went 2 for 3 and drove in two runs. DH Endy Rodriguez (.176), 1B Nick Cimillo (.208), SS Tsung-Che Cheng (.220) and C Geovanny Planchart (.222) each drove in a run. LHP Anthony Solometo (5.98) allowed one earned run over five innings with four strikeouts. RHP Brad Case (4-1, 3.19) earned the win, allowing two hits and a run over two innings. LHP Jaden Woods (4.93) had a scoreless outing, tallying three punchouts and allowing no hits.

RHP Elijah Birdson (6.75) and RHP Mike Walsh (0.00) both had scoreless appearances in relief.
