INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 49-54) lost 4-3 to Iowa (Cubs). 3B Hunter Owen (.229) went 1 for 2 with a walk and hit his 15th home run. LF Bligh Madris (.255) went 1 for 2 with a double and a run scored. 2B Tucupita MArcano (.202) went 1 for 3 with a walk. RF Fabricio Macias (.275) was 1 for 4 with a run scored. RHP Tanner Anderson (2-2, 4.00) gave up two runs on four hits in 3.2 innings. RHP John O’Reilly (5.19) allowed two runs on four hits in three innings.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 52-49) fell to Akron (Indians), 9-5. RHP Roansy Contreras (2.44) made his return after being out since June 30 with a forearm injury. He went two innings, giving up two hits, including a solo home run. He struck out three and walked none. RHP Osvaldo Bido (4-6, 4.74) gave up seven runs, four earned, in four innings of relief. LF Jack Suwinski (.225) went 2 for 3 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI. 1B Mason Martin (.253) went 2 for 4 with an RBI. C Grant Koch (.115) was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. SS Oneil Cruz (.294) went 1 for 4 with an RBI and his 15th stolen base.
