Pirates farm report for May 9, 2021
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 2-3) lost 2-0 at Iowa (Cubs). Four Iowa pitchers combined for a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts. RHP Miguel Yajure (0-1, 1.50) allowed four hits and one earned run in six innings with two walks and six strikeouts. SS Cole Tucker (.190), 3B Kevin Kramer (.150) and LF Anthony Alford (.000) all struck out three times.

ALTOONA (Double-A , 2-3) was postponed against Bowie (Orioles) because of inclement weather.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 3-3) won 7-1 over Hickory (Rangers). RHP Grant Ford (1-0, 6.75) struck out two batters over two innings to earn the win. SS Liover Peguero (.389) doubled before leaving the game with an apparent injury after a steal attempt. 1B Aaron Shackelford (.421) was 2 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs. LF Fabricio Macias (.364) had two hits and two RBIs.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 3-3) won 18-9 over Fort Myers (Twins). Bradenton scored nine runs in the bottom of the first inning to take control. RHP Oliver Mateo (1-1, 15.43) earned the win, allowing one hit with three strikeouts and one walk in 1 1/3 innings. LF Sammy Siani (.235) had three hits, including a home run, double and five RBIs. 3B Alexander Mojica (.333) had two hits, including a home run. SS Dariel Lopez (.250) was 2 for 4 with four RBIs, and 2B Maikol Escotto (.400) was 3 for 4 with four RBIs.
