INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 23-22) was outslugged by St. Paul (Twins), 9-8, in 10 innings. Indy blew an 8-4 lead after seven innings. RHP Hunter Stratton (4.09) gave up a three-run homer in the eighth and RHP Cristofer Melendez (2-3, 4.08) allowed a solo homer in the ninth. LF Oneil Cruz (.213) went 2 for 5 and hit his sixth home run. RF Jared Oliva (.219) went 2 for 5 with a triple and a two-run homer, his third. DH Bligh Madris (.250) went 1 for 5 with his third homer. CF Travis Swaggerty (.250) went 2 for 5 with a double. 2B Ji-hwan Bae (.294) was 1 for 4 with a double and an RBI.

Next: Saturday at St. Paul (Twins), 8:07 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 22-21) pounded out 14 hits and beat Harrisburg (Nationals), 5-1. SS Nick Gonzales went 3 for 5 with an RBI to raise his average to .252. 1B Aaron Shackelford (.228) went 2 for 4 with a two-run homer, his seventh. LF Matt Gorski (.333) went 2 for 5. CF Matthew Fraizer (.199) went 1 for 3 with a walk, a double and his sixth stolen base. 2B Liover Peguero went 1 for 5 with his 11th stolen base. C Blake Sabol (.322) was 2 for 5. RHP Austin Roberts (6.75) started and pitched two innings, giving up a solo home run. RHP Travis MacGregor (3-1, 4.25) came on and pitched four scoreless innings to earn the win, giving up three hits and striking out six. RHP Brad Case (4.09) then worked three scoreless, giving up one hit and fanning five, to earn the save.

Next: Saturday at Harrisburg (Nationals), 7 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 20-22) split a doubleheader with Asheville (Astros). In the opener, the Grasshoppers managed just one hit in a 3-0 loss. 2B Yoyner Fajardo (.333) got it, going 1 for 2 with a walk. RHP Adrian Florencio (1-6, 7.63) took the loss, giving up three runs on seven hits, including two homers, in five innings. RHP Eddy Yean (7.16) worked a scoreless inning.

The Grasshoppers won the second game, 3-1, despite recording just four hits. RHP Domingo Gonzalez started and went six strong, giving up a solo home run but just two other hits while striking out five. RHP Cameron Junker (2.30) worked a scoreless seventh for his fourth save. SS Maikol Escotto (.183) went 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI. RF Jack Herman (.224) went 1 for 2 and drove in a run.

Next: Saturday at Asheville (Astros), doubleheader, 6:05 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 19-24) lost 6-2 to Fort Myers (Twins). SS Mike Jarvis (.253) went 2 for 4 with a double and his first home run. LHP Anthony Solometo started and worked three scoreless innings, giving up two hits and two walks and fanning three. RHP Carlos Jimenez (1-3, 3.09) took the loss, giving up four runs on four hits with nine strikeouts in four innings of relief. LHP Denny Roman (1.52) and RHP Johan Montero (2.70) each worked a scoreless inning of relief.
