INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 28-31) gave up 10 runs in the fifth inning and lost 15-7 to Omaha (Royals). C Endy Rodriguez (.253) went 1 for 3 with a double and two RBIs before being ejected for arguing a call at first base. 1B Miguel Andujar (.347) went 1 for 4 with a homer, his seventh. RF Henry Davis (.300), who moved to catcher after Rodriguez was ejected, went 2 for 5 with his first Triple-A stolen base. RF Cal Mitchell (.275) was 2 for 2 with a double. LF Canaan Smith-Njigba (.245) went 1 for 3 with a double, two walks and his fourth steal. RHP Osvaldo Bido (3-4, 4.55) started and allowed five runs on four hits and five walks in 4.1 innings. RHP JC Flowers (7.96) recorded one out and gave up seven runs on three hits and four walks. RHP John O’Reilly (6.97) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings of relief.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 28-24) scratched out only two hits in a 2-0 loss to Richmond (Giants). RHP Jared Jones (1-3, 2.21) started and pitched six no-hit innings with five strikeouts before allowing a solo homer to the first batter of the seventh. RHP Noe Toribio (3.50) gave up one run on two hits in 1.2 innings of relief. C Abrahan Gutierrez (.200) went 1 for 3 with a double. SS Liover Peguero (.259) went 1 for 4. 1B Matt Gorski (.261) and DH Mason Martin (.205) each went 0 for 4 with three strikeouts.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 29-23) won 1-0 over Wilmington (Nationals) on a walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth. 1B Will Matthiessen (.252) hit the decisive long ball, his fourth of the season, going 1 for 3 with a walk. RHP Thomas Harrington (2.89) and RHP Grant Ford (3-0, 4.88) combined on a two-hit shutout. Harrington allowed two hits and no walks in seven innings, striking out eight. Ford threw two hitless innings, issuing two walks and fanning three. Before Mathiessen’s homer, the Grasshoppers only had two hits. RF Tres Gonzalez (.232) went 1 for 4 and DH Eli Wilson (.233) went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 28-26) was clobbered by Dunedin (Blue Jays), 14-3. DH Jack Brannigan (.240) went 1 for 3 with his fourth homer. It was Bradenton’s only hit. RHP Wilbur Dotel (0-1, 6.43) started and gave up seven runs, four earned, on six hits and three walks in 2.2 innings. Later, LHP Luis Peralta (4.82) was tagged for seven runs, six earned, on three hits and four walks. RHP Joshua Loeschorn (4.43) worked 2.1 perfect innings, striking out four. RHP Darvin Garcia (3.15) and RHP Ryan Harbin (1.17) each pitched a scoreless frame.
